Brandywine Center for Integrative Medicine

Welcome to the Brandywine Center for Integrative Medicine!  At the Brandywine Center, Dr. Kendall Ritz works with each patient on a personal level to establish health, vitality, and optimal aging by focusing on weight management, hormonal balance, and a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Ritz uses targeted laboratory testing, diet and lifestyle intervention, dietary supplements, and stress management techniques to help her patients reach optimal health.

Her medical background and training in functional medicine provide a comprehensive approach to the treatment of a broad spectrum of chronic diseases and health issues, in addition to providing a foundation for improved physical appearance and positive body image. Dr. Ritz specializes in the management of chronic illnesses that may be
associated with diet and lifestyle, including:

·        Obesity
·
Hypertension
·
Diabetes
·
CAD
·

In Integrative Medicine, Dr. Ritz functions as a consultant, not a primary care physician. She will work with the primary care doctor to address health issues not adequately managed by traditional approaches. Dr. Ritz may recommend dietary supplements or prescribe additional medications, but will also work with the primary care provider to help patients get off any unnecessary meds. As a Board Certified internist and pediatrician, Dr. Ritz will work with both adults and children, and she encourages the treatment of the entire family unit.
